The same meal can sit differently on a stressful day, after a poor night's sleep, or during an illness. If you only record food, it is easy to blame the food for everything — including things that had little to do with it.
That is why context matters. Stress, poor sleep, illness, medication changes, unusual activity, travel, and pouch issues all change how your body responds. Recording them gives you a fuller picture.
The goal is clarity, not a guilty food
When you can look back and see that a "bad" meal happened on a rough day with two other factors in play, you avoid misjudging the food itself.
The goal is not to find a guilty food. It is to see your body clearly enough to make better-informed choices with your care team.
